The Italian report on e-cigarettes that was picked up by major news outlets like ABC has drawn a lot of criticism it seems. An article on one health site notes that news coverage of the Italian study is rife with comments from not only users of the devices, but academicians as well. It seems there is a question if there actually is a study behind these comments from the Italian Government.
The article did seem to claim that propylene glycol is somehow a harmful substance which was odd, but otherwise helped bring up the question of the origins of this so-called study. I'm glad I'm not the only one who wondered if this thing was completely made up.
