Blueberry Buckle from Bulk E-Juice
First Impressions
This is the second of their new signature series that they have provided to me for review (thank you Misty!) This flavorful liquid is described on their website as:
“A mild to medium fresh sweet blueberry with a hint of cinnamon”
The first thing I noticed when I received the shipment in the mail was the wonderful aroma that came out of the padded shipping envelope. And eventually I was able to breach the protective barrier of bubble wrap to get to the liquid treasure inside. And in this case, I do indeed mean treasure!
I was able to wait almost a week before my willpower just caved in. So I loaded a clean Kanger T-2 with a fresh head that test out at 2.2 ohms and attached that to my Apollo 18650 V-Tube.
While their normal mix is 50/50 with your choice of nicotine level, since each liquid is made to order, mine was 60/40 at 18mg of nicotine. You just have to state your preference and it shall be done.
While they do not modify their flavors (or IMHO) need to with extra flavor options, they are now offering an interesting option for you to modify the flavors themselves by being able to purchase 6ml bottles of either a sucralose liquid sweetener or liquid menthol for $2 each so you can modify their E-Liquids to your own taste. This is the first company I have heard of to offer that option. I like it!

As always, when I am testing a new E-Liquid for the first time, I like to start out at 3.4v and work my way up till the taste starts change for the worse and then walk the volts back down until I find my “sweet spot” for that e-liquid.
The scent coming from the slightly amber color of this E-Liquid was unmistakably of cinnamon with just a hint of blueberry.
At 3.4v I got primarily the cinnamon flavor with a hint of sweetness and blueberry. Cinnamon on the inhale to be sure with the blueberry making its presence known on the exhale. And AMAZING amount of vapor for that PG/VG mix and voltage setting! And a definite amount of throat hit, more than most but I am crediting the cinnamon for that. Pretty much the same up to 4.2v. Just more vapor and throat hit. Beyond 4.2v started tasting more like burnt cinnamon.
And a week passes……
This time I settle in quite happily at 3.9v. The throat hit and vapor production are still impressive. But what a difference the time to steep has made!
The cinnamon while still very much present has “mellowed” and has blended with the blueberry which is much more pronounced. The cinnamon component is much less “harsh” than it was (and as cinnamon is known to be at least to me). and now I am really getting that taste of sweet blueberry on exhale.
This is indeed a E-Liquid worthy of your consideration. I know that I like it. I like it a lot and can’t wait for a little more steeping to see what it becomes with some age added to it.
